Durable Medical Equipment Manager
Carla attended Albuquerque Technical Vocational Institute where she received her
Associates degree in Computer Science. In addition to her Associates degree she
attended the Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of New Mexico
where she received a Basic Management Certificate. She is a Registered Pharmacy
Technician in the State of New Mexico. Carla is a Certified Fitter for Jodee
products for patients of breast surgery.
Carla has seven years experience with durable medical equipment, pharmacy,
Medicare/Medicaid, and third party billing. She is very knowledgeable in durable
medical equipment, wound care, incontinence, nutritional, ostomy, urologicals, and
billing. She has been employed by PharmaCare Health Services since 1996. During
this time she has gained many responsibilities including managing the Durable Medical
Equipment Department, shipping, purchasing, payroll, new employee orientation, human
resource responsibilities, and is the account representative for Lovelace HMO.
